A CONFERENCE TO CELEBRATE 10 YEARS OF THE NATIONAL AEROSPACE TECHNOLOGICAL CLUSTER

“THE NATIONAL CLUSTER AND THE PIEDMONT DISTRICT
OPPORTUNITIES AND SYNERGIES FOR INNOVATION IN PIEDMONT”.

The 10 years of the CTNA (National Aerospace Technology Cluster) will be celebrated in Turin, in the presence of President Cristina Leone, at the International Training Center in via Maestri del Lavoro on Thursday 19 May from 9.30am.

Doing the honors will be the President of the Piedmont Aerospace District (DAP) Fulvia Quagliotti who will open the conference “THE NATIONAL CLUSTER AND THE PIEDMONT DISTRICT: OPPORTUNITIES AND SYNERGIES FOR INNOVATION IN PIEDMONT”.

The conference will be divided into two parts, the first will include the intervention of the Councilor for Productive Activities of the Piedmont Region with responsibility for Aerospace Andrea Tronzano, followed by those of the President of the Compagnia di San Paolo Foundation (the Minister of National Technological Clusters ) Francesco Profumo and the President of the CTNA Cristina Leone.

The second moment of the conference will be dedicated to a round table entitled “Aerospace is a driver of economic and entrepreneurial development of the territory around the “City of Aerospace” project moderated by the President of the DAP Fulvia Quagliotti, which includes three discussion panels : the first will be attended by representatives of Leonardo ( Cristiano Montrucchio), Polytechnic of Turin (Giuliana Mattiazzo) and the Piedmont Region (Andrea Tronzano), the second representatives of Thales Alenia Space (Walter Cugno), University of Turin ( Stefano Geuna), Unione Industriali ( Giorgio Marsjai) and the third panel representing Avio Aero (Marco Silvano), API (Corrado Alberto), Turin Chamber of Commerce (Dario Gallina).

An important conference to celebrate 10 years of the CTNA and to reiterate the strong bond between the National Cluster and our District – declares Fulvia Quagliotti, DAP President – ​​we are experiencing a historic moment in which the world of aerospace is increasingly becoming a driving force the economy of our country. In recent years, Piedmont has been affirming its centrality and with the “City of Aerospace” project it intends to start a process of valorising the realities that operate in the area”.
