Stimulating young people’s interest in space issues with a focus dedicated to girls to encourage them to undertake scientific subjects with different activities divided by age groups, from lower primary school to upper secondary school, this is the challenge launched by the Cluster Technological National Aerospace with the second edition of Space Dream , the cultural event organized in collaboration with Sapienza University of Rome and the scientific support of ASI, CNR, INAF and INGV on the Treccani Scuola   platform .

On the occasion of the awards event, the CTNA meets the Space dreamers who this year too responded in large numbers and with works that demonstrate a high level of interest in Space and a strong enthusiasm for new projects.

Welcoming the students in presence and in connection were Daniela De Leo – Vice-Rector of Public Engagement, Sapienza University of Rome and Cristina Leone – President of the CTNA.

The awards ceremony will be followed by a round table  “The passion for research and the pleasure of discovery”  in which young researchers from ASI, CNR, Gnous, INAF, INGV and SAPIENZA will participate and will explain to the students what their path was and how to the curiosity of the first years of school, then transformed into scientific experimentation and innovation, we must always continue to nourish “knowledge”, not only for personal growth but also to positively support the growth of our country. Moderator: Silvia Camisasca, physicist and journalist.

In connection with Prof. Amalia Ercoli Finzi , the first Italian woman to graduate in aerospace engineering;. Academic, scientist and Honorary Professor at the Polytechnic of Milan.

At the end of the event, Maurizio Cheli, astronaut, chief test pilot and first Italian to hold the role of “mission specialist” will speak.
