The conference  dedicated to the new  sides of the Space Economy  and the aerospace sector of Lazio, with particular attention  to the present and future of  Colleferro ,  European Capital of Space 2022 , historic  city of foundation  and stronghold of the most important Italian aerospace industry,  Avio , where the  Vega launcher was born,  an authentic jewel of  Made in Italy .

The Forum will present the Lazio Region as the Land of Space, which hosts a complete production chain of the space industry and adopts an innovation model capable of interpreting the great technological adventure, imagining solutions aimed at improving life on Earth: from the monitoring of environment, to precision agriculture, from the management of natural emergencies, to the protection of critical infrastructures, to telemedicine. The meeting, of an international nature, will start with the presentation of  “Colleferro city of Space 2022” . Next year the city of Colleferro will be the Presidency of the Communauté des Villes Ariane, the European Association of Space Cities founded in 1988.

The Forum will also be an opportunity to retrace the history of the Morandi city  which, while maintaining an industrial vocation, today looks to the future with a view to sustainable development, through an urban regeneration program and new training opportunities to attract young talents.
Furthermore, issues related to the activity programs planned for this year of the Italian presidency will be addressed, also involving representatives of the Metropolitan Area of ​​Bordeaux, from which Colleferro will receive the baton at the end of 2021.

Guests include some of the most significant regional business entities in the aerospace and space economy sectors, such as  Leonardo ,  Avio  and  Thales Alenia Space Italia .
