“Synthetic Aperture Radar technologies and applications. Synergies between Vietnam and Italy” is the title of the seminar that the Italian Embassy in Hanoi organized in collaboration with the Vietnam National Space Center and the Italian Technological Cluster on Aerospace (CTNA). The meeting, scheduled for June 6 at 2.00 pm (Hanoi local time) at Casa Italia in Hanoi, is part of the Vietnam – Italy scientific and technological cooperation program and takes place as part of the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two Villages. The objective of the initiative is to stimulate an in-depth study on the potential applications of synthetic aperture radar technologies with particular regard to crucial topics such as monitoring climate change, water resources and data collection for precision agriculture. The workshop will bring together experts from both Vietnam and Italy, as well as representatives from Italian aerospace companies Leonardo, e-GEOS and Thales Alenia Space Italia.
