The course is in-person and valid for the purposes of the PEO 2022 call. If the event is followed remotely the course will not be valid for PEO purposes

On May 24th, starting from 9.30 am, in the Rectorate’s main hall, the  training course “Words matter. Languages, gender and community” , open to the  technical and administrative staff of the University of Siena .

The program of the day:

  • GEPPI PATOTA, PROFESSOR OF HISTORY OF THE ITALIAN LANGUAGE ,  WORDS ARE FEMALE AND FACTS ARE MALE: LINGUISTIC SEXISM BETWEEN HISTORY AND NEWS ,
  • SILVIA CAMISASCA, JOURNALIST ,  LANGUAGE SPEAKS ABOUT US: WHAT IT SAYS ABOUT OUR CIVILIZATION “FOR” WOMEN ,
  • NATASHA CALANDRINO VAN KLEEF ,  ARCHITECT AND DESIGNER OF INNOVATION. FOUNDER AND OWNER OF NVK DESIGN STUDIO;
  • CRISTINA LEONE ,  PRESIDENT OF CTNA, NATIONAL AEROSPACE TECHNOLOGY CLUSTER,
  • MARIALAURA CORRENTE ,  VETERINARY MICROBIOLOGIST,
  • EXPERIENTIAL LABORATORY ORGANIZED BY THE TABLE.
